Project 'Happiness'

I'm Jenn from Long Island, NY. I have a wonderful boyfriend of 7 years. I'm a transfer student majoring in Social Work. My entries should be expected to be just about as random as I am. Writing makes me smile. Life's a journey; nothing should be left undocumented.

Does anyone have a livejournal? I have grown quite fond of that site, and I think I’m done switching around from blog to blog, Lol.

Reblog if you’d rather celebrate Halloween at Hogwarts this year.

She’s mostly gone
Some other place
I’m getting by
In other ways
Everything they whispered in our ear
Is coming true
Try to justify the things
I used to do
Believe in you

Watching you drown
I’ll follow you down
And I am here right beside you
The lights in the sky
Have finally arrived
I am staying right beside you

I tried to stay away
You know
Just in case
I’ve come to realize
We all have our place
Time has a way you know
To make it clear
I have my role in this
I can’t disappear
Or leave you here

Watching you drown
I’ll follow you down
And I am here right beside you
The lights in the sky
Are waving goodbye
I am staying right beside you

This is the prettiest song I have ever heard, and the most meaningful one at that. If you aren’t a NIN fan, I challenge you to DL this song or listen to it on youtube…you will not waste 4 minutes and 27 seconds of your life, I promise you that. It’s one of those songs that makes you feel, and it speaks to me in ways I cannot explain.

I remember one Christmas wanting a Furby more than anything in the world. They were sold-out everywhere, and impossible to get. After opening all the presents on Christmas morning, my father told me to check behind the living room couch, just to be sure I didn’t leave any behind. Sure enough, I tore off the wrapping paper, and found not 1, but 3 of them. At the time, in NYC, they were $100 a piece, and my father went nuts looking for them for me and my sisters. Yeah. That was a great day.
